The Daily City – #46 – Bubble Egg Waffles

July 9, 2018 By Chris

PFT Media Podcast NetworkTRANSCRIPT: The steakhouse chain Mannys Chophouse has opened a location in downtown Baldwin Park at 4979 New Broad Street, next door to Colibri Mexican Cuisine. The Mannys Menu is a family friendly collection of basics: buffalo wings, onion rings, potato skins, steaks, seafood, chicken, burgers and chocolate cake. Manny Nikolaidis opened the first Manny’s Original Chophouse® in Haines City, Florida, in 2004. Between 2007 and 2013, Manny opened three more locations in the same part of the state. There’s one Manny’s already in the Central Florida region and that one is located  in Altamonte Springs.

A new restaurant called Blended Cafe Bar serving bubble tea, bubble egg waffles, banh mi, bao, coffee, wine and wine cocktails, and craft beer is coming to College Park in a 5,064 sq ft. space at 2306 Edgewater Drive next door to the College Park Diner. A bubble egg waffle is an egg-based square waffle divided into giant pull-apart bubble pieces. Hmmm. Blended Cafe Bar will join two other dessert shops along College Park’s Edgewater Drive: Jeremiah’s Italian Ice and Trevi Pasta.
