TRANSCRIPT: A 41 story, 450-foot tower to be located across from the Bank of America building in downtown orlando was proposed to the city in a Master Plan filed by a Miami development company. The project is called Zoi House and includes residential and ground-floor retail and office space. This tower would become, if built, the tallest building downtown according to Growthspotter.
Singer John Legend is coming to Orlando for a “Get Out the Vote” kickoff event. Guests will enjoy free Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, music. He will speak to the crowd about Amendment 4 which, if voted in, will restore the right to vote to 1.5 million felons who completed their sentences. Legend will be in Orlando Wednesday October 3rd, 3:30-6:30 at Evans High School according to Orlando Weekly.
Quarterwear.org is a locally owned online clothing company, created a job board for job seekers looking for jobs in the non-profit sector. Quarterwear says its clothing company impacts 25 lives through the charity Feeding Children Everywhere with every sale.

A shop called @saorboutique is opening this Fall in downtown Baldwin Park at 4825 New Broad Street according to signs posted in the shop’s windows. One sign says the business will be “bringing family fashion to a whole new level.”
